HEAD BOLTS

Are the head bolts in a 1947 1450cc high tensile ,as ordinary mild steel bolts will shear

Forgot to add what size are the head bolts Ive read two different sizes Len

They are high tensile. You can get the correct ones from Mike Couldry.

Morning,Ive found the head bolts are 3/8 BSF. A firm who supplies these wants £9.30 each plus P&P However a firm I use charged me £4.44 for three high tensile bolts along with 20 washers Some saving Len

Are they the correct length? usually this is the issue.
