New Member Kevin Rover 14 P1

Post by wobler100 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 2:40 am

Hello to all the RSR members,
My name is Kevin (wobler100), I live in Box Hill, Surrey. I own a Rover 14 P1, 1935.
Recently purchased from Highlands of Scotland.
Colour: 2 tone grey, in generally nice condition but needing a few jobs to be completed to bring it up to useable standard
I've had the leather re-conolised
The dampers need sorting & the timing chain has slipped, but these jobs are now in hand.
I would like to know anyone (or information) who has changed the Luvax front shocks for telescopic type as there are incorrect shocks fitted
Many thanks & look forward to communicating to members
Kevin

Hello Kevin and welcome to the Forum. Are you intending to fit telescopic shock absorbers? Meteor Spares have a kit that may help you. What shock absorbers are fitted now?

Best regards

Hello Mike,
Thankyou for the kind word & recommendation, I have bought some parts from Meteror previously.
I have the wrong ones fitted they are girling type but not the Luvax
I have sent Mike a mail regarding the conversion to telescopic type
Kind regards
Kevin
