Newbie in Herts

Post by Arewethereyet » Tue Sep 01, 2015 6:52 pm

Hi all, just collected my Rover 14 1935. Been out for a couple of tentative local runs this afternoon and it drives very nicely. Also came with quiet a few spares. I've got a couple of classic Land Rovers as well but this is much older technology than I've got experience with so I 'm going to be picking your collective brains on here. I've been told there's no such thing as a stupid question, well we will see eh?
I've attached some pics but not too sure if they will work.

Hi and welcome to the RSR website.
Your car looks a great very original example,
I've had a few of these models over the years saloons & sports.
If your wondering about the kink in the hose to the thermostat its because these are prone to rot
& yours has been replaced with one off a 4 cylinder model with casting outlet at a different angle, ( new 14hp ones are now available).
There is currently a correct type small 1/8pt oil can on eBay item no.131593889263 to fit in bracket on bulkhead.
The headlamps where usually all chrome.
Any questions just ask this website will usually have the answers.
cheers Jeff.
