Front Beam Axle alignment

Post by David2021 » Thu Jul 14, 2022 10:38 am

It is well known that the correct alignment of the front axle and steering is essential for decent handling. Everything is affected whether castor angle, toe in/out, shimmy etc. The correct figures are all available, BUT where can one get it set up properly? Tyre shops with alignment jigs have often never seen a car with a beam axle and cart springs, let alone tried to set one up.
I am looking for such a place in the Midlands. Has anyone found this paragon of virtues?
