Lyn Thomas RIP - updated with funeral and wake details

Post by GOY189 » Mon Feb 24, 2020 6:09 pm

I am sad to have to tell you that Lyn Thomas died recently. Lyn was a Rover engineer and he worked on the P6. Later he was responsible for saving the P6BS prototype, declining to crash test the vehicle "until a few more had been produced." Until he chose to retire, Lyn was the RSR's DVLA liaison officer, helping recover many lost registrations. Our thoughts are with his family at this most difficult time.

His funeral will take place on Thursday March 12 at 13.00 hrs/ One o’clock at the Robin Hood Cemetery, Streetsbrook Rd, Shirley, B90 3NL Details of Wake are now to hand. It will be held at the Cheswick Green Village Hall, B90 4JA Lyn’s son David would like to have an indication of how many people will wish to attend the Wake, I will pass on numbers if you let me know asap.
