RSR Trailer Stolen, Please help us find it

Post by GOY189 » Sat Aug 22, 2009 5:37 pm

On thurdsay 6th or Early Friday Morning 7th August the RSR club Trailer was stolen from from outside the home of one of our members in Worcestershire, who was going to take the display equipment for use on the RSR stand at the VSCC event at Malvern on the 8th August. The thieves were very determined and destroyed the wheel clamps in order to take the trailer away.

You may have sen the report in in the latest edition of Classic car weekly, Police are investigating, but please will UK members of the forum watch out for a very distinctive Trailer.

The trailer is a twin axle Ifor Williams white box trailer with a roller shutter rear door and a personal door at the front. It carries sign writing with logos in red lettering on both sides and the rear door reading "Rover Sports Register - the active club for all Rover enthusiasts".

The matter is being investigated by Droitwich Police and the crime number allocated is : 22CF/57030N/09

Anybody having information should contact the police or telephone our club chairman Mike Maher on 0788 406 1234

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

All Ifor Williams trailers have their serial number stamped out of the frame at the front where it is very visible. Do we know the serial number so that those of us who go to autojumbles etc can look out for it even if it has been repainted?

A sad day when the likes of this happens.

Maybe it should have been posted up here when it was first taken
