P3 wheels and stud spacing

Post by dreadnought111 » Sun Oct 24, 2010 10:50 am

Hi
is the wheel stud spacing the same on a P4 the same as a P3?

If it is the same does anyone have a set of 16 inch P3 wheels for sale

Stud spacing is the same offsets differnt - 16" P3 wheels are rare and sought after as they can use cheaper tyres

Hello there dreadnought111

Standard wheels on both the P3 60 and 75 models were easy clean 17 inch with 5.50 tyres, but 16 inch wheels with 5.75 tyres were optional on both models, I do not know which were the most common.
However I do have 3 17 inch wheels which came off of a p3 some years back, they are fitted with Dunlop Gold Seal 5.25/5.50 tyres and tubes, they are in original black paint still showing the circular fawn coach line, but will need restoring, the tyres would probably be ok to keep a car mobile during restoration but would def be mot failures.
Appreciate you seeking 16 inch wheels but if you are prepared to consider 17 inch please come back to me, alternatively would be pleased to hear from anyone else who might be interested.

Regards
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I think I have sent you a PM about these, though it appears to still be in my out box. Please let me know if it doesn't arrive.
Thanks
Paul
