I also saw this on the DVLA website - makes you wonder what is happening to the old car. I've also just remembered that I had a bit of history of it from the 1939/45 years

Hi Credo444
According to the RSR archive database ANV 115 has been in the RSR on and off since 1985 with 5 different owners, you could be one of them??
The current owner lives in Sheffield and purchase it in 2002 when he described it as condition F, ie under restoration and he still describes it as condition F in his 2010 renewal. I saw the car in the late 1990's at a rally in Essex when the then owner described it as ' has an MOT but needs tidying in places!!!', from memory it was a blue body with black wings!!.
So seems car still around, but as per DVLA advice, it is obviously off the road at the moment.

I would guess that I was the first owner registered with the RSR back in 1985. The car was all blue when I got it ( I have a feeling it was originally black)and I put a lot of work into the interior and sunroof area and then repsrayed the bonnet /top half a darker blue. The wings were the original blue. I also put a plate on the side of the engine where it had frost damage.
I have a good few photos of the car as it was in my time and I wonder is there any way of contacting the current owner to pass on the history if he/she is interested?
On a similar note I've always thought it a pity that there is not a central website of some sort where past owners of any type of vehicle could pass on history to current owners.
