Why not fit an electronic SU pump, they help reduce the problem of fuel evaporation

Postwar export models were fitted with electric SU pumps.

I have a pump on my Barn Find 1935 10hp ' Denzel ' which has a broken flange, the top half seems ok.... can you give me details of exactly which pump you are after.

I have fitted an electronic pump to my ' Snowdrop ' ( article in last Freewheel ), but kept the original pump for originality by making a blanking plate which fits inside the pump and effectively blanks off the workings, making valves etc unnecessary, the petrol just flows into the chamber and out the other side to the carb.

Hi eric,
I may be able to help you with an AC fuel pump replacement top.
I was just about to list on ebay a new complete old stock type T with a straight through top plus a used type T top with staggered 5 past 3 configuration.
You look as though you already have the brass M & F unions for the small inlet and outlet so I can take those off for someone else.
Please let me know if you are still stuck.
Regards
Mark

Sorry Chris, I thought that I was replying to Eric from Holland.
Ignore my reply, so yes I can help you out with the unions depending on Eric's reply as his photo shows angled unions which may be a stop gap.

Mark
