Electrical problem

Post by kevh » Sun Aug 14, 2022 6:42 pm

Hi All,

I posted this on the veteran page without response so thought it may be better here.

Finally getting to the back end of my 1935 12 restoration and have a problem. Electrics are not my strong point and I did a quick run through to see if everything was working ok, everything worked as it should until I got to the traficators, the right hand worked fine but the left hand flicked out and I then lost power to the panel which holds the switches for the indicators and traficators and no ignition lights. I have checked the two fuses behind the dash and they are ok but there is no power getting to them, are there any other fuses that I am not aware of, any suggestions?

Hi kevh, there should not be any other fuses. If the wiring is original it may be broken somewhere in the system

I'm afraid it's time to get the volt meter out and start checking
