Fuel pumps & heaters

My tourer (#110) has an SU pump - were the tourers classed as "export" models? It is fitted inside the car, about where the heater might have been. Is it supposed to be there? If not where should it go? Not shown in the exploded diagrams. I would quite like to reinstate a heater (anyone got one for sale? Perhaps in the club spares cave?)
