Hi Tony,
A couple of points that may help with your restoration.
Side lights on front wings. These should be positoned on the centre of the crease of the wing. The front of the side light should be in line with the back of the shell of the headlamp looking across the car. The side lights come with a chrome plinth which straddles the plinth so all sits nice and square. In working on John Burnett's 14 dhc ( see last Freewheel ) John discovered the wing restorer had drilled the wings with the hole outside the crease! They were also too far back. However thankfully because of that the plan is to drill new holes further forward and on the crease line for the side lights and fit wing mirrors where the existing holes are.
The chrome radiator shell bung can be obtained from Meteor Spares. It is a round one for the 10 and 12 models and oval shaped for the 6 cyl cars.
