1934 Rover 12 IDENTIFY A PART

Found this is the engine tool box ,has anyone any idea if its off the Rover.As you can see it split in two and there are three prongs on the rear Len

It is part of the traficators control, on the steering column, just below the steering wheel. No 97

Thanks I knew someone out there would have the answer I wondered if it was for the lower part of the steering column to seal the hole,where it comes through the bulkhead So I was only a metre away Len
