Thanks Luli

I will be studying the gearbox and your reply to understand what needs to be done, it looks like I will have to remove the box to see what is happening, hopefully it will be straight forward to correct it

I will post my findings as soon as I have a solution

On another post I solved my clutch issue now I find I have a gearbox issue to solve also, both are related; Having removed the engine and replaced the clutch friction plate with a slightly thicker one I had to add some packing to the clutch operating lever to gain some more travel, this worked well,...

Hi Stewart I bought the clutch plate from Mike Evens, and while he was inspecting my old plate he had concerns over which plate to replace it with relating to thickness, we finally decided on a replacement plate with what seemed to be not overly thicker than the original but this did give issues as ...

Are you getting your pictures from the partd manual ? They seem more detailed than that
