I was approached at a rally by Tiff Needell whom I have known for many years ( since my racing days ), he invited me and ' GEV ' my Rover 10hp 1938 Coupe to take part in the filming of the Napier-Railton Experience. I was an ' extra ' and expected to dress the part ( 1930s ) which was not a problem....

For all my bodywork restorations I have the body media blasted professionally, always removed from the chassis, and then zinc sulphated.

..don't forget if you try the Napier-Railton Experience at Brooklands, look out for my ex- Rover 10hp Coupe 1938 in the background...and I am part of the crowd !!

It pays to keep looking !! I have been after an original Rover 10hp 1935 lifting jack for over 30 years. Whilst visiting autojumbles, ebay etc for most of those years I found one this morning..as part of a job lot of Morris Traveller spares on ebay. Luckily I only had to buy the jack, this completes...

BTW I did report an error in the current P2 1934-38 Workshop Manual some time ago. On page 15 in the ' Tappet Clearance ' section, sub section ' Remarks ' It states that the red rocker box instruction plate is for 0.005" tappet setting. This should read ' black ' . And the black 0.010" plate should ...

Yes they are 18" , I am not sure if they would fit, I am happy to give you dimensions if that would help. Maybe someone has tried already for fitting 18" to 17", is there room under the wings ?

Will clickety-click give you a clue ? I bought my first Rover 36 years ago when I really could not afford to run her. My P1 was 14 years old when I was born.
