Re: Air in the fuel line
Hi Rob, I am in Cyprus at the moment and don't have access to my files, what model and year is your car ? If you have an early car with the cork seal type piston reserve switch that screws to the top of the petrol tank then this is generally a problem area, the cork pistons can shrink to allow air t...

Re: Rear engine/gearbox mount
Hi Joel, Remove the four large rear support securing bolts and the retaining strap, then lift the gearbox with a jack, the support should come out easily backwards. When refitting the strap, there needs to be a small space between the gearbox and the strap to allow the gearbox to move, but secure, a...

Re: radiator cap
Hi Mike, I have converted a number of the standard fin type for the addition of a Viking mascot. Its quite easy, just grind off the fin to continue the curvature after removing the radiator clamping assembly, fit the mascot with countersunk brass or stainless screws, the mascot will need to be drill...

Also I have found and purchased a second ' Rover Fire Extinguisher Company ' brass and copper extinguisher. This one was in an antique shop in Cambridge. The first one is fitted to the Rover 10hp coupe 1938 owned by Laurie Arnold.

Rover Tenners Group
Just a little note to say sorry for being a little ' quiet ' on the forum ( to include the Worldwide / Australia forums ) but busy with my MGJ2 derived racing version J3 1933 and assisting Derek Field with his '34 10hp. I will be away for the summer but still able to pick up emails. My Snowdrop is n...

Re: Original Lifting Jack
Sorry Chris. I was looking for the ' 38 jack myself also, but have since sold the Coupe so no longer required. When I bought the '38 car from Neal Powell he told me that the car came with a jack that he had bought from Meteor Spares, but it was not the correct jack ( in fact it was a morris one ) so...

Re: Original Lifting Jack
I have found and bought an original Lake & Elliot CO1377 green bottle screw lifting jack for the '35 10hp off ebay. The seller did not know what he had as it came with a job lot of Morris Traveller parts. After 30 years of looking I finally found one...and a good price too. I have since sold the ' 3...
