Re: Rover 12 1934
Hi. The age old dilemma of how perfect you want it. I am lucky that both my Rover and my vintage bike were inherited from my Dad in a very tidy but used condition. If I get caught out in the rain it isn't a disaster. It isn't going to take me 2 days to clean them to within an inch of their lives. It...

Re: Rover 9/20 overcharging
Hi.
First thing is to determine if the car is running a 3 brush dynamo or has been converted to a 2 brush.
Regards, Stuart.

Re: Rover 9/20 overcharging
Hi.
I'm in Essex so not much chance of having a look, . If you have some more info on what type of dynamo is fitted maybe we could offer so advise. Otherwise you need to find a knowledgeable member local to the car.
Regards,
Stuart.

Re: Rover 9/20 overcharging
Hi Mike,
Where are you based? Quite hard to sort these types of issues remotely. Does your Rover have a 3 brush dynamo like my Rover 10? If it does then from my experience they do require some careful set up to find the sweet spot between under charging and over charging.

Stuart.

Re: Rover 10 Shock Absorbers
Hi Rob, They work well when on the bench and have much more resistance on the rebound than on compression due to the outer band wrapping itself around the inner in one direction and opening up in the other direction. I can imaging that without lubrication the friction material would wear out very qu...
