Hello Mike.
The nuts were done up so tight that nothing could move!
Both sides freed, cleaned, greased and nuts tightened and then backed off one turn.
Problem solved. Many thanks.

Rear brakes locking on
My vehicle is a 1949 75 and I have twice recently had the rear brakes lock on after braking quite sharply. New remanufactured shoes were fitted a few months back and the brakes have been adjusted frequently over the period to cater for the bedding in. I never experienced this problem with the previo...
