The front shocks that I have are at right angles to the chassis.

I have spent years and hundreds of dollars (Australian) getting Luvax shock absorbers reconditioned. I am convinced that they are a waste of effort. The front shocks can be replaced fairly easily by telescopics. Pity to spoil the authenticity of the car but it is a safety issue and the car can shake...

Definitely a Clegg 12 (or were they called '14' after WW1)? NOT 1701cc though. 2300cc is about right.

In the discussion on Streamlines of the '30s, it has been stated by several writers that they were available in both 4-light and 6-light forms. I have seen no evidence to support this. All extant examples seem to be the same body. Also, how many were built? Not all Speed 14s were Streamlines (I know...
