I have a number of cartoons that I bought at a Bonhams sale in October2021. When looking through them recently I saw one was signed in pencil; "Rover 3 litre always Trog" According to the Autocar stamp and notes on the reverse it was published on 7 December 1972 (Illus No B. Page 16) It shows the N/s upper front door .window and roof of a P5 with a pair of very "snooty" looking, rather elderly passengers! I imagine it may have been an illustration for a humorous article. it is black and white ink and wash on cartridge paper about 15"x11"clearly torn from a sketch pad. Trog was the pen name for the cartoonist Wally Fawkes (from Chris Barber's jazz band) he was best known for his long running "Flook" strip cartoon (in the Daily Mail I think) Unfortunately my printer wont copy such a large piece of paper, but this is the most of it! sorry it is 90 degrees out! I would like about £25.00 for it postage/delivery to be discussed!
