Hi,
For many years I have owned a traction engine but as I'm getting older I have become interested in old cars. I recently sold my 1927 Swift and have now acquired a 1907 Rover 6. Starting it has not been easy. I even had to coax it with some Easy Start. I'm sure many people will disapprove of this method but it is now running and I have discovered how to set the Advance/Retard lever for starting.
I would very much like to hear from other Rover 6 owners as I have much to learn!!

Re: New Rover Owner
Hello,
and welcome to the RSR Forum. There is some info on the main website, for the Rover 6HP , a little bit out of date but still interesting.

Can you let us know whereabouts you are and maybe a picture or two would be great.

We are in Cambridgeshire midway between Cambridge and Ely.
I will attempt to upload a photo later.
