Roy garner RIP

I'm sorry to have to announce that Roy Garner died suddenly a few days ago. Many will remember Roy's restoration business and fleet of Rover Wedding cars. Our condolences go to Roy's widow, Jane and his daughters at this most difficult time.

Roy’s funeral will be held at 1.30pm on Wednesday 27th February at St. Mary’s church in Ambleside. Refreshments afterwards at the parish centre, all are welcome. As might be expected of Roy, there is no dress code, come in whatever you feel comfortable and no flowers. There will be a collection for Northwest Air Ambulance and Coniston Mountain Rescue Team.
