Seems to me, albeit as a relative newcomer to this forum, that it exists on tne good will and commeraderie of those taking part. Therefore if you post a question it seems entirely reasonable and sensible to provide feedback if folk are good enough to respond.
As a major benifactor of responses made on this site (as well as a well known landrover forum) that it is the least we can all do to take a bit of time and effort to respond to people's advice, however helpful or otherwise it may prove.
