P6B Electric fuel pump

I recently bought a 1974 P6B Auto, which has had the mechanical fuel pump replaced with an extremely noisy electric pump. It sounds like there is a demented woodpecker under the bonnet and rather spoils the ambiance of the hushed V8 motor! Can anyone suggest a nice quiet replacement pump that will deliver enough juice to my thirstly V8?
