There was an article written in Freewheel many years ago regarding the rebuilding of a P2 sunroof.

If you contact Stewart Devlin he can supply you with the correct article

I have also bought a 1948 P3 which needs sunroof restoration. Mine does have the sunroof (albeit a bit scraped) so I can roughly see how it goes together. But the rails that the sunroof slide on (the ones fixed into the car on either side of the sunroof aperture) are rusted so I need to replace them.

Does anyone know of a good place to source replacement sunroof rails from please? I will be sending the car off to welders soon (it needs new sills plus some floor fixing) so would liek to be able to provide the welder with the parts.

Thanks Neil

I would suspect they will 'not be available off the shelf' and would need to be specially fabricated
