hi iam going to be fitting a modern engine into my p3 so will be selling off the gearbox and engine for parts i also have new stainless steel exhaust system if anyone on here is interested cheers

It would be interesting to follow your progress on your re engining of your P3, what engine gearbox combination are you going to use?

PS your haven't got a decent 6 cylinder carb your selling have you?

iam going to fitting 2.5turbo diesel and five speed gearbox from ldv 400 same engine as Peugeot 505 ive also discovered the ldv 200 has link pin front hubs that fit on the rover which will give disc brakes up front and the best bit ldv200 has the same stud pattern as the rover. i have got a carb but the engine was out and in bits so best assume the carb needs a rebuild cheers

Yes my LDV Pilot is beam axle with king pins and good disc brakes,
and has p6 stainless hub caps & p6 spare wheel cover in back.
I've used a couple of LDV wheels to stand my old p2 on,
if fitted the wrong way round the tyre valve just catches .

Did you sell your original engine and gearbox?
I was looking for a p3 60 engine, for a 1948 vehicle. Is yours available and also is it a core plug or side plate type?

hi still got it all side plate i think but the block is no good its cracked
