Hello everyone and thanks for letting me join the group and I have just sent off my membership.

I am very new to pre-war Rovers so be gentle! Our previous car having been a 1939 Morris Eight Series E.

I have just purchased a 1937 Rover P2 12hp Sports Saloon, Reg: FPD 357 and was wondering if anybody had any previous knowledge of the car?

It looks as though it has been restored in recent years and is finished in two tone blue with blue upholstery and black wire/spoked wheels.

Welcome abord Gary, I watched that car go through the auction and it certainly looks tidy. Hopefully someone here will know it and be able to give you some information on it

Indeed, Adrian Mitchel kindly provided a list of previous owners known to the club in my club membership pack.

That's excellent Gary, hopefully some other members will be able to fill in some of the gaps
