Hi Luli

Thanks! Yes the boxes will 'reverse' which allows the self centering of the wheels when driving. It is of course hard to test properly with it on the bench compared to on the vehicle properly loaded up. I had a few early on which wouldn't 'reverse' very well but these were when I had reused old steel nuts lapped onto different columns (there is great size variation in the steel nuts it seems). I assume it was due to a small point contact on the worm. All the bronze nuts I have had made run fine in reverse and I do check them on the bench to make sure. As I say though, a bench test is only so good and it never fully replicates what it is like in a vehicle. I have considered making some sort of test bed which could be loaded up with spring force or similar to get a better idea of how the box will behave on a vehicle but I haven't done it yet.

Cheers
Calum

Thank you!
I am sorry that I had missed you in the past. May be you should advertise in FreeWheel (this is how I found the other 2)
