Boot handle locks

Post by RobHomewood » Tue Sep 27, 2022 11:05 am

Could anyone help in identifying these 2 boot handle locks which I dug out from my spares? They dont match my '39 14 nor apparently a 38 sportsman saloon. I wondered if the single handed one was from a tourer? They are marked as follows:
single handed one shows 'FM558/3'
double handed one shows 'H475/A/2' and also 'WBB'
Any help gratefully received
Rob

Cannot help with the single one but the double one looks to be from 1940 and 47/48 models?

The single arm looks remarkably like one used on (typically) Morris |Minor Traveller rear doors? WBB is the trademark (?) name for Wilmot Bredon
You may be able to identify them from an old WB catalogue?
