Engine/gearbox studs

Post by MarkK » Wed May 03, 2017 12:43 pm

I need to buy a new set of these for my 1947 10. I suspect they are the same as P4 and Series 1 Landrover. Does anybody know where I can get them? These days the earliest Landrovers seem to be from 1968!

Note that these have different threads on each end. The BSW one goes into the aluminum side, and the BSF to the steel nuts. Usually the old ones can be re used after proper cleaning. Have you tried the Mikes? Freddy Boulton? Kidderminster? http://wp.me/pXLKy-2VU

You need 10 off part no 3650 (E2 and E4 in the parts book diagram), 2 off 3319, (the long stud) and 1 off 3200. All are 4 digit part numbers and your guess was correct they were used on p2, P3 and P4s as well as Series Landrovers. John Craddock, the Land Rover parts supplier at Cannock has them. Check their website.
