Should my 1935 Rover P1 have black or body coloured wheels?

Body coloured, I think.

There is a complete table of correct wheel colours for each year of P2 production on p.25 of the P2 Workshop Manual under the title of "Body Colours". It is not a simple matter of copying the colour of the car's body.

Maroon over black. Oh and not a P2.

The cars we refer to as P1s- 1934 to 1936 models and the D backed '37 10HP- are all covered by the P2 Workshop Manual. The aforementioned table gives the following details for the 1935 Finish No.4:
Body-Maroon; Body Top- Black; Upholstery and Carpets- Maroon; Fine Lines on Body- Gold; Wings- Maroon; Wheels- Black.

Many thanks. They're currently maroon, but not the same shade as the body, more likely from a previous incarnation. Black would seem to be the factory version then.
