1934 Rover 12 Chroming

Post by digcot65 » Wed Sep 23, 2020 9:15 am

Morning, just collected the radiator cover and grill ,from the chromers .I have had the front and rear bumpers rechromed as well. The price of chroming had certainly gone up over the years,I`ve been using a firm now,for over 20 years and they are very reasonable and excellent .The difference between old and new is amazing,so when its all assembled it should make quite a difference.L

Hello the front bumper and starting handle bracket ,the rear bumper ends and the four sections on it then the radiator surround and the centre grill ,came to £600 .the chroming included copper plating on top of the nickle plating. To have it copper plated as well is the ultimate way and will last for years. If anyone wants any chroming I can arrange it,but it will be a case of them sending and collecting and paying direct rather than to me.Which saves me the trouble of all the running about.I can get it done at trade prices for cash.Len
