Is it the later type with the glass filter bowl? I may have some parts that could help you.

Hi Colin,

thank you for the offer. I attach pictures. Perhaps it will be another type. Carb with the glass filter bowl was used in 10/25, 10 Special has a glass filter bowl on an AC pump. So if it was in the original. I'm trying to get the car up and running after somebody else's renovation. And some adjustments are amazing. The tube that pushes the pressure oil into the head is sealed (impervious) silicone. Disposal of mechanical AC pumps and electric replacement. The electric has high pressure and the needle valve on the float probably does not hold this pressure. Maybe it will not be a problem in the carburetor, but in the pump.

I will have a look. I may have a lid from that type, hopefully it has the needle valve still attached.

I assume your car has a rear mounted fuel tank? My 10/25 has a gravity fed system.

Thank you for your willingness. Yes, my car has a rear mounted fuel tank.

According to the manual, I thought 10/25 also had an AC pump. This is a surprise for me. I am a veteran beginner :-) I like to learn.
Thanks

Mine is a 1929 car. I think they changed the layout in 1930.

It’s currently in pieces as whoever rebuilt the engine 10 years ago didn’t fit the circlips correctly in the piston gudgeon pins - the clips have now badly scored the cylinder bores!

This is a photo of the engine layout.

It is a great pity. The repair will not be simple and inexpensive. Otherwise very nice piece.

I also have the engine after "renovation". I'm afraid to look inside. How many spirits from the engine still come out? :D Silicone looks from every cover.

Good evening,
Please help. I removed the fuel pump because I wanted to put it into operation. I've found that the pump is inoperative because it's missing arms or another drive. This is a type #855228 Model B. Do you have anybody for sale? It would help me with a photo of the shape of arm. I understood that AC pumps were made as a kit and fitted with different arms as needed. There should be mutual compatibility. Perhaps.
Many thanks.

I'd be tempted to bolt that back on and discretely fit an electric pump as it will be more reliable with modern fuels

I try to put the car in its original state, but if it's not a choice, I count on the electric pump option. Now there is an electric pump. It puts too high pressure and the needle valve in the float chamber leaks (may be defective). I tried the pump at a lower pressure and also leaks. Now I ordered the fuel pressure regulator and another needle valve from Colin (thanks for help). I thought the original AC pump would solve this problem and it would still be cool. But if one problem solved it and others caused it, it would not be a solution. I have no experience, I'm a beginner. I'm happy for any advice or idea.
