Re: Vintage Beaded edge tires
Perhaps those contact details ought to be sent by PM and then removed from the open thread?

Re: Richard Moss's 1990 Sterling
It's just been down for an MOT and passed first time with no advisories. Not bad when you consider that it's been standing almost 10 months.

Re: Richard Moss's 1990 Sterling
The "new" steering rack is great - or at least it's right. The steering weight is just as Honda intended, which means too light for my tastes. I've actually got something done on this over the last few days. First I doubled checked that the sunroof drains are all clear - which they are - and that me...

Re: Rich Moss 1997 820 Si saloon
A couple more jobs done this weekend: replacing one of the differential oils seals and fixing a dodgy starter motor. The oil seal had been spewing out gearbox oil all over the place and so the replacement will pay for itself in a while. The job isn't too bad - after unbolting the brake caliper, trac...

Re: ' Freewheel ' Online ?
You'll be waiting a VERY long time for Freewheel to be available in anything other than it's current format. It was discussed previously and the suggestion elicited a lot of negative response.

Re: Rich Moss 1997 820 Si saloon
I got the car running smoothly again by cleaning all the oily gunge out of the bottom of the original LPG vapouriser and refitting that. You get an oily build up over time and that was stopping it operating smoothly. Normal service has been resumed. However, I'm probably still going to sell it and g...

Re: Rich Moss 1997 820 Si saloon
I'm seriously thinking of selling this and going back to the mk1 Sterling. Neither of my 820s has run really well on LPG and this one is just not happy in anything other than the warmest of weather and is no more economical than the 827. I could shell out on a £1500 on an expensive multipoint inject...

Re: Rich Moss 1997 820 Si saloon
Dec 6th update: I've fitted a second hand coil pack (but I'm not 100% sure how good it is, so I'm still getting hold of another known good one). It's hard to tell if it's made a lot of difference, so it probably hasn't! My father in law was chatting to the chap who runs his local garage (where the l...

Re: Rich Moss 1997 820 Si saloon
End of November update: I've got a replacement coil pack on the car now and it seems happier - a couple of cold starts will test that. Whilst the faulty coil pack was on there I suffered a couple of backfires, due to unburnt LPG, and it blew the airbox lid into three pieces! So, I've invested in a c...

Re: Midlands Festival Of Transport, Weston Park, Shropshire
It's on my "to do" list as well. Perhaps I can go for monday, too.
