Re: The sunroof
Hello Adrian, To answer your questions, the steel rear sunroof section is made from a steel plate drilled with approx 2mm holes, an anti drumming measure, I think. - There are reinforcing strips underneath, resistance welded on. - The plate is screwed to the ash frame. - The hood material that cover...

Hello,
Welcome to the Forum and good luck with your 14. Where did you get it? I'm sure that we will do our best to help, but did you know that the RSR has published parts lists and a workshop manual for your car?
kind regards

Changing Radius Arm rubbers
Does anyone have any tips for changing the golf ball like rubbers on the chassis end of the Radius arms on a P3? Is it necessary to strip the suspension to change them, or can it be done by lowering the chassis end of the radius arm?

Re: Information sought on early 1905 Rover
Hello Jason, We do have members who have experience of these cars. Unfortunately, the Rover production records prior to 1940 were destroyed during the air raid on Coventry in November 1940. The Rover Sports Register has some details compiled from owners of the very early cars, If you tell me more ab...

Re: Overdrive rear oil seal
Hello Adrian, Having looked at the parts book, there don't appear to be any particular Issues - The Drive flange has to come off, it's splined onto the output shaft, secured with a castellated nut/washer and split pin. The oil seal sits behind it, so the trick will be to extract the seal. Other than...

Re: Carb problems again
I recall that the late Basil Brown had modified his air filter on a 1947 16, basically the same filter as the P3, by removing the domed top (whether by cutting or prising the rim apart I don't know). He then replaced the very rusty metal gauze, and resecured the top with a domed head bolt or setscre...

Re: Remote locking fobs
Hello Adrian, If I read the information correctly, the earlier cars have an Infra red key fob - see http://homepage.ntlworld.com/william.whittaker1/800faqs.htm#Keyfobs%20Central%20Locking.
