Re: Unleaded Fuel

Hello Steve, The P3 block is quite strong and so is the head. I have a P3 6 light and have been running unleaded for years now and not had any issues. I decided when I restored the car after running it for a few years to up rate the diff to a later P5 so I could cruise on the US hi-ways at a respect...

Re: 47 Tourer found in the USA

Hello All, I managed to get from the seller of the tourer the plate number and as Andrew had guessed the number is HSM 570. However this is not the Perlmutter car as Steve mentioned. The current owner told me that car had been owned for many years by a Dr. Wilson. I will be going in the next few wee...

47 Tourer found in the USA

Hello All, Luck has found me again (or is it bad luck I not sure) I got an email from a fellow Rover enthusiast last Friday near the end of the day saying that a 47 Tourer was for sale in the South. I made a call and sure enough an elderly gentleman answered the phone and told me he did in deed have...

Rover Bicycle seat

Hello all, I have been lucky enough in 2011 to acquire both a men's and a ladies Rover bicycle. As they need restoration I would like to know what was the original saddle type. Brooks? Masfield? I believe that original seats along with several other items are not what came with the bicycle when they...

Re: Carburretor flooding on SU sloper carb

Hello Bill,

Is the Clegg you have the former Bernard Gee car? I was lucky to have had time at the NEC several years ago to see the car and meet Bernard.

I would love to see pictures of your car

Happy Holidays

I am sure we would all enjoy commenting on it and then hearing about your progress as you work on the P3. I know I would! ...
