Re: Latest work on the 1929 Weymann
Hello Stewart, The Weymann was comprehensively restored by Ray Arnett (an RSR member back then) in 1970 and he decided upon the green vinyl/cloth covering. Latest work on the 1929 Weymann
Hello All, So I got back to work on the Weymann bodied car this summer and decided to redo the interior. So at the beginning of September we purchased an industrial sewing machine and 7 leather hides. I figured I had never done this before so why not go all in with a difficult job from the beginning...

Re: 1929 Weyman restoration
Hi Stewart,
I kept the original gaiters as they technically are still use-able. I will try and remember to bring one with me to give to you to copy when I see you in June.
hope you are well

Re: 1929 Weyman restoration
Hello Stewart,
The gaiters are copies of the originals that were too worn to use but I do believe they were original to the car. I would bet that earlier cars had them as well.
See you in June

Re: Oil pressure gauge
Hi Stewart,
I believe the gauge is from a 9 it is very close to mine. However I believe that gauges used on Australian and New Zealand cars may have been different than home market cars.
See you in June
