Spam or phishing warning
I've had a suspicious exchange of emails relating to the intended purchase of my P3 restoration project which I want to bring to the attention of members, and perhaps more importantly, to the site moderators. I really think the full exchange of emails needs to be posted, but don;t know how this can ...

Re: 1935 ROVER 14 SPORTS SALOON SHOCKS
Jim Only just seen this, I very rarely visit the forum. I've come across a couple of period fittings of telescopics in place of the little 2-bolt vane type front shocks; difficult to know if they were a professional after market item or locally made. Would be able to dig and detail if you wish. Rear...

Re: 9/20 information
John I've a fair collection of 9/20 documentation here in the UK, but I hope by now you will have been in contact with other 9/20 owners in Australia, where there are far more survivors of this model than in the UK. Most of the issues with them will have been solved locally, and it is a great shame ...

P3 brake bleeding problems
Many people are reporting problems getting a good front brake on the P3, the situation being worse in recent years. Since the non-availability of the original 1.125" wheel cylinder it has been usual practice to use the larger 1.25" cylinder which of course requires more fluid. Problems seem to occur...

Re: P3 Tyres
A popular choice for the P3 on 16" wheels was '16" taxi tyres' used on London taxis and presumably available easily and relatively cheaply. However, this was a while ago and the later London taxis may be on smaller wheels. But, as others have said, there should be an extensive range of 16" radial ty...

Re: p2 and p3 wheels !
THe only difference between P2 and P3 17" wheels is the P2 wheel has a rolled edge rim, whereas the P3 wheel has the standard modern edge. 16" P3 wheels have a different offset and the 16" fitted car has different length rear axles as well. I think 17" wheels will fit a 16" car as a temporary measur...

Re: steel running boards dimentions
We are just about to commence a new batch of running boards. first off will be those for the 6-cyl saloon, followed by the sports saloon. After that we will be considering those for the 12hp if there is sufficient interest. We are not doing 10hp ones. Valences are also available.

Re: rover 12 tourer 1947
Rare when current as only 200 built, they are now the most common of all P2 Rovers with three quarters of production extant. I believe Mike Couldry has a record of those cars, or at least those known to him and the RSR, so the excersise has already been done. However, it's always worth checking that...

Re: Rover 75 keys
I recommend the 75 and ZT owners club for info and help. Certainly I was able to get a local member to supply a key with the transponder fitted and programmed to my car and with the two lock operating buttons tied into the car's security system while I waited; it took several hours. A local cobbler ...
