Ask the specialists: Mike Couldry, Mike Evans, Freddy Boulton - they may have it. Also the RSR stores.

Re: Rear Spring shackle
The lower pin oil is fed from the top pin through the shackle, to a hole drilled near its top. Your spring pin is installed correctly. See more here: http://wp.me/pXLKy-gE

Re: Fuel union on P2
Sorry to repeat myself, but the way to focus on the source of the problem is to use alternatives: Alternative petrol supply (gravity fed! no problem to do that if the car is static) alternative distributor, coil etc.

Re: Fuel union on P2
The following picture will help you with the names of the parts: https://lulisml.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/dky4h-a.jpg You can solve the issue quite simply: remove the cam and turn it by 180 degrees. This is best done with the distributor off the car (otherwise droping a little nut can become a bi...

Re: rear diff oil seal
Often it is not enough to replace the seal, but you must also replace the collar. This is the right time to change the bearing too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-SERIES-1-ONE-AND-P3-P4-P5-REAR-WHEEL-BEARING-KIT-3X-ITEMS-/221776179937?hash=item33a2e3f2e1 https://lulisml.files.wordpress.com/201...

Re: Fuel union on P2
Just to support dhbuchanan I like to add the following: HEP-02A is a high pressure pump which is designed to be installed near and below the fuel tank. It is very weak on suction, and hardly able to elevate the fuel it sucks to where it is now located. On top of it, having two fuel lines makes it ev...

Re: Fuel union on P2
What type of fuel pump are you using (model, part number)? Where exactly is it located? Note that SU recommends testing the pump on the rig for more than 10 minutes - they know why. What was the temperature of the pump when it was failing?

Re: Fuel union on P2
You have made a significant progress since that now the main suspect is the fuel pump. Test it off the car, attached are instructions from an old "Motor trader" paper: http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/r764/lulisml/rig2_zpsvoovesj9.png http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/r764/lulisml/rig1_zpssvhbw...
