Re: 1947 12 Tourer center lamp support

Hi Steve The one in your last post is identical to the one on my 1947 12 tourer. On close examination the two end pieces and the centre piece are solid metal, possibly Brass?? However the two connecting pieces are hollow tubing with small holes in the back at both ends to feed the wiring through. Ag...

Re: RSR web page

Since Christmas I have found, using Firefox, the RSR website very slow to both open and move around on, either directly or via the forum link, and on many occasions I just give up. No problem getting onto the Forum.

I have no problems with other websites I regularly use.

Re: 1940 Rover 20 Tickford Drophead on ebay

This car has been known to the RSR for a number of years and according to the info on the RSR archive database I can advise as follows on its history as we know it and which I pass on in good faith. It first came into the RSR in the late 1970's under the ownership of the late Richard Stenning who ha...

Re: Rover 9 KW1943

Hello there Tony I have checked the RSR pre 1950 database and whilst we have a brief note that your father owned it at some time but no dates condition or colours etc. Otherwise we have no further details of ownership so cannot help you with current owner. If you do find out any info pls let me know...

Re: Rover 14 Chassis for Auction

Hi Chris This chassis is from a 1936 Speed 14 Streamline Coupe and has been on display as a rolling chassis at the Molesworth Museum up near Chester for many years, I first saw it in 1992/3 at which time I was restoring one of these cars so I had a long and interesting chat with the Curator who had ...

Re: rover14 tourer 1934

Hello again Arnold

Having reread your message I see your car has the belt rather than the chain drive, so has a previous owner already changed engine for a later one??

Re: rover14 tourer 1934

Hello Arnold Is the UK registration TJ 6517 ?? If so I think we may have spoken about 10 years ago as I have a note on the RSR archive database that you purchased this car when working in Bridgenorth in 1964 and eventually took it back to Holland. If this is your car what is its current condition?? ...

Re: 1937 Rover10 Sportsman

HI Paul

The prefix DML was issued by Middlesex County Council licensing authority between March and August 1936, whilst we have details of 3 1936 cars on the RSR archive database with this DML prefix unfortunately nothing on DML 911.
