Re: Inflation?
It is a bit pricey isn't it! - Not what I would call a beautiful looking car either!

Re: headliner in P3
Hi Patrick, I am not sure of the exact spec for the P3 Rovers - on my P2 I used an all wool headlining material from 'Woolies' trim suppliers (http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/) They do quite a good range of colour choices and materials - Perhaps if you have any scraps from the original they could matc...

Re: Hi from Poland
Hi Patrick, Welcome to the forum - I am sure there are people more knowledgeable on the P3's than myself who will be able to help you out with your restoration questions. The 4 light / 6 light refers to the number of windows - yours is 6 light as there are 3 on each side - the 4 light has 2 on each ...

Re: Choice of Engine Oil
Thanks for the replies. Just out of interest I contacted Castrol and Penrite, giving them the car details and info on state of engine etc. Castrol recommended Castrol XL30 and Penrite Shelsey Medium - both are roughly the same price - about £24 / gallon.

Re: Choice of Engine Oil
Thanks for that - very good price! and must say your website is very useful source of info, particularly having the parts manual on there.

Choice of Engine Oil
Hi, I was just interested to know what Engine Oil folk use or recommend for their P2's and what single grade or multigrade. Is it worth going for one of the quality brands such as Penrite (which is quite pricey!) or perhaps one like Halfords produce - Classic 20/50? In my own case it will be for a r...

Re: Bootstraps
It's quite interesting looking at the 'number of views' statistics against different topics on this forum - for instance on this one there are 405 views, but only 6 replies! there must be a fair few members / Rover enthusiast looking at the site.

Re: Bootstraps
Have to agree I'm afraid to say - the forum does seem to have come to a halt. I think what is disappointing is when people have made an effort to reply only to find no follow up or acknowledgement even. Perhaps we are all guilty of not making more effort! I think perhaps the real problem could be th...

Re: RDX60
Found this item on the RDX60 on AR online http://www.aronline.co.uk/index.htm?rdx60storyf.htm Looks like it was an intended all new model. I imagine like all the later Rovers it would have been badged both Rover and MG in it's different versions. It's looks remind me of the smaller BMW sports hatch ...
