Re: P2 Starter ring

I have now had a chance to take some pictures. 4 cyl & 6 cyl flywheels are different. The recess in the middle to take the crankshaft is smaller for 6 cyl. I have shown as much information as I can below. Although it has some surface rust you can see the face is not scored and the teeth have no dama...

I have a 6 cyl post war P2 flywheel I bought in error that has an excellent face and teeth. Mike Evans said you can machine th...

Re: 1934 Rover 12 door handles

Do you know the thread and the length of the bolts that hold the handles on a 1940 12 S/S? I assume they are BSW, BSF or BA. Part of the fun of restoring an incomplete car which is also being hampered by not being able to attend shows and look at other cars. :(

Regulator Fuse

20201018_170056.png Can anyone tell me the ratings of the two fuses in the regulator on a 1940 12hp as per the picture. I currently have a 13 amp 240v plug fuse in the bottom and a blown 35 amp with a piece of wire soldered across the ends at the top. Cannot find any info in the workshop manual or ...

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Pipe

Hi Luli Thank you for the tip about Meteor Spares. I have been in touch with a local hose company and they are sure they can attach a new hose to my fittings so I will try that first. I have already made several visits to your website and it will provide valuable information as the restoration progr...
