Engine help
Hi, I'm looking for a mechanic familiar with P2 engines in the Orpington Vicinity. I'm struggling with the time to spend on a project that seems to be heading towards the horizon quicker than I can catch it. This is predominantly due to work and family demands increasing. I'm in two minds as to sell...

Re: Dynamo Replacement UK
Thanks Tony for the quick reply. Mine is a special so not fully compliant wiring loom.
I'll look into this.
Thanks again.

Re: Dynamo Replacement UK
Hi Tony,
Just read your article on the Dynamator conversion. A question, what alteration did you need to make to the control box/voltage regulator since this is now within the Dynamator?
Thanks

Re: 16HP Water connections
That was my thoughts. I was looking to see if I put a ‘T’ piece on to the original, cap it or have a’Y’ piece at the water pump so both ports were fed.
Hoping for ideas. I think, if easily done a ‘T’ piece where the original was.

Re: 16HP Water connections
Not sure what’s up as I’ve tried them before posting and just tried again and they seem to work. I’ll look for a different way.

The Offside of the engine block has two, what i believe , coolant connection, one midway along the block and one nearer the bulkhead. All the pictures i've seen show one coolant connection midway. I've the standard cast fitting...
