Drive it day 2023

Just wondering if anyone will be driving their P2 in the Lincoln area on Drive it day this year? I have a P2 project but have never been for a ride in one, so I'm after a little run in one as a passenger.

Re: sill replacement photos

Trial fit of Mike Evans outer sill... They fit perfectly well worth the cost. Recommended. Note: front section is my own fabrication. Mike was out of stock of this when I purchased the main section a few years ago! Next step clean off remaining rust from internal areas, treat and paint, then get the...

Re: sill replacement photos

Hi Richard, Thanks for your comments. I wonder who's car will be completed first?? I had a look at you photobucket photos and I looks as though we both have a similar challenge ahead! Hard to tell from your photo's but is looks as if you will need inner sills as well as outers? Although I chose to p...

Re: Painting the chassis

Hi, Just wondering if you have completed the painting? If so what were the results like? I am having to replace the sills on my P2 and am considering what paint to use. If you are interested I am adding photos of progress on photobucket: a google search on 'wouldhee' will find the photobucket page o...

Mig Welding

Just started using Argon mix (from Hobbyweld) rather than straight Co2.
Results very pleasing on P2 sills*. Far less splatter.
( see 'photobucket' under 'wouldhee' if you are interested in sill progress.... ongoing project ...slow!
