Re: P2 Brakes
Thanks to all for your replies. However, I'm not sure that I have made it clear what my problem is..... The front and rear compensators have all been re-bushed as has the front to rear compensator. All the Clevis joints have been replaced and their rod ends welded and re-drilled. I have been through...

Re: P2 Brakes
Hi Just read your post. I also had the same problem with the telescopic brake rod and also found no trace of the spring. However, once apart, I cleaned it up, loaded it with copious amounts of copper grease and all now seems to be working OK. The only issue now is that I don't know how much free tra...

Speed change Remote Control
The restoration of my 1947 12hp has been going well Engine back in and fired up - phenomenal oil pressure (I'll have to get that sorted!), steering, brakes and suspension all sorted. On the whole going well. But.... The engine was fitted with new engine mounts and a new gearbox/freewheel housing cra...

Hi
I've still got the tyres as posted. Can you let me know where you are and I might be able to find a way of getting them to you if you want them.

Re: Tyres
Reply to S Hyslop... Apologies for my rather late response. You sent me a message offering some Luvax bits. I seem to have lost that message but I would like the internal and externally threaded pipe nuts that you sent me pictures of. I seem to remember that you mentioned a figure of £6 (?). I'm ass...

Re: Speed Change remote control
Hi (again) Once again thanks for you response - I followed it though and I'm sorry to say it made no difference. However, I went through it all again hoping for a blinding flash of inspiration. But alas no! But I did notice the the on the bracket that forms the gear shift mounting and the two faces ...

Re: Tyres
Hi Thanks (again!) for responding to my post. I attached a few photographs of what I need. Photo 1 is the pipework removed from the car. Item A is the meter valve - it has SE1 stamped on one of the flats of the hexagonal part of the casting. Item B is a nut with an internal thread and item C is a nu...

Re: Speed Change remote control
Hi
Thanks for your response.
I'll not get back to it until next week but I will go over your detailed response (with the manual in hand!) and hopefully that will throw up a solution.
Meantime, any further ideas will be welcome.
Adrian
